Hi all
Is here someone with experience with the XLF-50 and a Nikon D5000 I thinking of bying one, for when i use the sigma 70-300 f4-5.6 |

The flash you have asked about is a flash that is unique to Ritz Camera. I can see that your strategy is to reduce your flash cost. However, as a Nikon D-5000 owner and somebody who uses a lot of flash, I would not invest $100+ in that flash, as it is not a very powerful flash at all and it cannot realistically and fully use the TTL communications that are available on your camera.
If keeping the cost down and you do not need much flash power, first look at the Nikon SB-400 flash, then the SB-600 flash. In the long term you will be happier with a flash that can fully communicate with your D-5000 camera. Sarah Joyce |

Thank you for your advice.
RitzCamera came in the picture as i can goto there shop in the florida mall Orlando as i be there at years end. The Sb400 is out of stock Ordering one via internet cost me 65$ more as shipping cost to Curacao !! So this time i thought i buy one my self as i am in Orlando.
