Default Can I use Olympus FL-36 flash with Nikon D90?

Is there an adapter I can buy so I can use my Olympus FL-36 External Flash on my new Nikon D90 camera?

Thanks for the advice.

Welcome to the Forum. We're delighted that you dropped by.

There may be an adapter, I have not seen one. The FL 36 will only work in the manual rather than the TTL mode on your D-90.

Modern flashes and cameras communicate using data transmission signals which are unique to each brand. An adapter which could unscramble the data from the Nikon, and turn it into something the Oly flash would understand, would likely cost more than a new flash, so I don't think you will find anything.
As Sarah mentions, you would have to use manual mode, and figure the exposure yourself.
