Default Minolta 2000 XI Flash

I Have a Nikon 4500, can I use my Minolta 2000XI external flash? I'm interested on buying the KISS bracket with an AS-E900 adapter cord. Thanks for the info.

Yes, but …
1) The 2000XI is an dedicated automatic flash for Minolta , so you have to content of the full burst manual mode (I am not 100% sure, but I think that it doesn’t have auto-mode, nor fractional power manual mode) Forget the camera controlled flash power mode (as with a Nikon flash)
2) the AS-E900 give you a standard ISO hotshoe with Nikon dedicated pin out (standard trigger pin, and Nikon proprietary TTL control pins) This hotshoe is different from the one on your 2000XI , which is a Minolta proprietary hot shoe.
So, you have to find a way to connect (and hold) the 2000XI to the standard hotshoe ( I am not aware of such adapter).
(note: if you are a bit handy , you can connect directly the wires inside the flash )

(I assume also the the 2000XI has a low trigger voltage, not to damage your Nikon circuirty)
