Default How to attach flash to a gorilla pod ?

I have a canon 430exii that I'm getting a hot shoe extension cable for. I want to mount this on a gorilla pod but I cannot find an adapter. Can anyone advise what I can use? Thanks!

Hot shoe extension cable, huh?

The Canon OC-E3 Off Camera Shoe Cord has a tripod socket insert built into the flash shoe.

You'll see the same thing with some of the third party cords. For example, Vello makes some in various lengths:

On a personel note I prefer a straight cable to a coiled one
