Default Nikon d90, weddings, flashes

Hi all I'm a photographer looking for help. I have always shot in controlled environments or natural lighting. Only a couple of times have I used an external flash and always up close and just as fill. I am shooting a wedding that is a sunset wedding and reception at night. I recently shot a wedding at night as the 2nd photographer and the flash I had was really of no use, it was a Minolta maxxum 4000af. I am looking for suggestions on a few different flashes to look at. Like I said the wedding is at sunset and reception at night. I will not be able to set up other lights to bounce, etc and being the only photographer there I do not want to miss anything. I have NO idea about flashes and I am doing a lot of reading but just too much info. I need some advice on what flash to purchase for this wedding or to even rent. Please and thank you I do not want to screw this up

You might want to take a look at the Nissin:

IMO it's a strong alternative to the Nikon as I do use both Di866/SB-900
photos (ϕοτοσ), light
graphos (γραϕος), painting
