Default Olympus C700 with OM dedicated flash

Does anyone know if a Dedicated TTL with manual zoom head flash for an Olympus OM film camera will work with a C700 if I buy the Flash bracket and TTL cable? It is not an AF flash unit, so it doesn't have AF assist.

The Olympus Compatibility Chart may give you some assistance. Check it out. Also, the ProMaster 5750 is a manual zoom flash unit that supports TTL flash metering with Olympus digital cameras, although it requires their own Olympus module to make it work. Even so, it's about half the price of the FL-40.
