Default S2 Pro- Bird Flight & Sports pix wanted...

Hello S2 Pro folks,

supposedly the weak area of the S2's performance would be in fast shooting- such as in bird flight and sports photography- might anyone have any galleries or photos they can share showcasing what the S2 Pro can do in this regard?

Default S2 sports and bird images

I can't tell you what a S2 will do but I am quite happy with the S1 and combining it with either a Nikon 300 f/2.8 manual or Tokina 400 f/5.6 AF telephoto.

These links will show you what the S1 can do:

tripod, 300 f/2.8 w/ 2X:

hand held (400 f/5.6):

I've stopped using film and rely 99% on the S1. I spent two weeks in Paris and London with the camera and a digital wallet and had no problems.

In the field I've dropped the camera twice (once in a pack). I do not use cases and even in the rain I've not had any problems. Normally a 28-200mm zoom is my standard lens.

Hope this helps. FYI, the Nikon 300 is getting converted from manual to thru the lens aperture control.

I have both the s1 and s2 and do not have any problems shooting the Blue Angels with either camera so birds should be easy. The only problem with shooting birds with the S2 is on "P" program or professional is sometimes the lighning drops and you get blurred images from a shutter speed to slow. It works better to shoot on Manual or Shutter priority. We shoot a lot of scenic coast photographs for the gallery and love the S series. Don
