I waited eagerly for Steve's review of the S3. I am impressed with the one thing it does best..... the wide range capture. However, Steve only tests the camera's ability to provide wide range captures in JPEG mode. the camera clearly makes a big difference when capturing wide range JPEGS.

However, I wish he would have taken a look at the wide range capture when capturing RAW files.

I read at Luminous landscape that when capturing in RAW mode, the wide range capture makes no improvement. I was hoping Steve would have chimed in on this. Does anyone here know?
