Default Fuji x-e1 meets snout beetle

Was tryng my old and trusty raynox dcr150 on my 55-200mm.

fuji x-e1 + 55-200mm + raynox dcr150 - 1/125s;f10;200mm;iso2000 (manual focus)

The resulting macro is around 1:0.9 so close enough to a 1:1.

This is the first time I tried this setup handheld, the viewfinder works fine only keeping stable is hard.
The only thing I don't like is that when half pressing the button it goes from 3x view back in full screen.
Something I still have to get used to.
Also the reason that I only had 1 keeper after trying for 1/2 hour.

#1 the full beast

#2 a closer crop

#3 the full size about 2.3 MB

Any c&c is welcome

Cheers

Ronny

Thanks Gordy,

I did use the focus peaking, but the most help I had from the camera was the 3x enlargement in the viewfinder, the only thing against using it is that it disappears as soon as you half press the shutterbutton.

It's almost te invers of the way I normally worked with a focustrap where I got focus confirmation while half pressing the shutter. It'll take some time for my mind to get over that.
