I have the F50fd and have searched the manual and this site for an answer.

How do I get the time/Date stamp on the picture?

When I view the pic on the camera, it has the time/date stamp, but when i transfer it to windows XP SP2 it has no stamp.

What am I missing?

Are you sure your camera has that feature? I don't think it does. What you're seeing in the camera is not a time/date stamp, but rather some of the EXIF data that has been recorded for that particular picture. I believe most of the Fuji cameras can print a date/time on a picture, but don't embed it on the digital image.

If you really want a date to show on your photos (and I don't know why you would), there are a number of free editing software programs out there that will enable you to add text to your photos. That way, you can put names, dates, moon phases, anything you might want on your pictures. Once a camera puts a time/date stamp on a digital image, it's there forever (unless you go to great lengths to remove it).

Here's a good (free) program to try:

Good luck.
