Hello; I own a Fuji S700 and I'm having some trouble to focus it to infinite. What I want to do exactly is to photograph airplanes in flight but no matter what setting I'm using the camera can't autofocus on them if I use zoom (tele), and I can't find a way to set the focus to infinite manually either. This is frustrating and I know I'm missing some trick here, can anyone help please? Thanks!

I find that when shooting planes with my S5700 at full zoom the only way I get a pretty consistent focus lock is to track the plane in the viewfinder with the lens centered slightly ahead of the plane's direction, half press the shutterand it's in the focus area by the time the camera locks on. Takes a bit of practice but works well most of the time.
