I read something like that they will come out with the new sensor in a small compact,, so i guess that the new one like the S100fs will not have that new sensor.

i agree, S100 not "premium-class" camera, but "[S]erious" -> for advanced amateurs.
but because S100fs is top model from "Serious" line - maybe.
anyway, aside from SuperCCD and lens(not smile), Fuji ICs and firmware - most greatest parts of Fuji

I've been toying with the idea of going with an S100fs instead of my DSLR, also can relate to being tired of lugging stuff around, changing lenses, size, weight, etc.

Gives me an idea for a new topic, going to ask everyone this question now
