I've been trying to contact Fuji's technical support to see if a SDHC class 6 card offers any benefits for my S2000HD? I keep getting a voicemail message. Does anyone here know if a class 6 card is worth speed money on for my camera. I read somewhere that it has something to do with the data transfer rate. If my camera only has a certain speed than spending extra money on a class 6 card is a waste? Help!

SAL-
If you are doing a lot of long video clips or a lot of burst mode shooting it would be worthwhile to you. However, as I do neither of those two items, I save money and buy normal SD chips. Sarah Joyce |

Sal.
I assume Sarah meant to say normal SD chips, as the S2000 cannot use xD cards. As Sarah said, unless you're planning on extensive video or burst shooting, you probably won't see much advantage with the Class 6 cards. Keep in mind, when shooting video, your camera limits video length to 15 minutes or 4 GB. I'd recommend getting the fastest card you can afford, anyway. You can get a 4GB Class 6 card for less than $10, so I doubt that's going to break the bank. Every camera performs differently, so buy a class 6 and compare it to a normal SD card and see if you can tell the difference. the Hun |

after spend some time shooting SD 133x 150x and SDHC 6 class[not tested 133x SDHC yet] i simply CANNOT use ordinary SD even for quite usual shooting.
i mean in terms of performance, L&F, more fast cards - really worth money. |
