Since my Fujifilm S6500fd was playing up and well out of warrantee, I decided to pull it down as far as possible and investigate possible mechanical problems. I documented the process for others...
PS. I now own a Olympus E-520 (with three year extended warrantee !) |

Note: The flash capacitor is on the back of this board on the top right. It retains about 250V DC charge even when the camera is off. Ask me how I know that :-) |
