I am aware that S602, S20 and S7000 basically share the same body shell with slight differences on the body colors and trimmings.
But functionally, what are the major differences? Here are my take, please correct me if I am wrong: SCCD generations S602Zoom - 3rd gen S602Pro - 3rd gen S20Pro - 4th gen S7000 - 4th gen Image Resolution S602Zoom - 3MP interprolated to 6MP S602Pro - 3MP interprolated to 6MP S20Pro - 3MP interprolated to 6MP S7000 - 6MP interprolated to 12MP Socket for a shutter cable S602Zoom - No S602Pro - Yes S20Pro - Yes S7000 - Yes Largest Aperture S602Zoom - Wide f2.8-Tele f3.1 S602Pro - Wide f2.8-Tele f3.1 S20Pro - ???? S7000 - Wide f2.8-Tele f3.1 Longest shutter speed S602Zoom - 15s S602Pro - 15s S20Pro - ??? S7000 - 30s |

i thought the 602 and 602 zoom were the same camera-heres the specs on the dpr camera database
602pro http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/spec...ixs602zpro.asp 602z http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/spec...nepixs602z.asp s20 http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/spec...epixs20pro.asp s7000 http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/spec...nepixs7000.asp they all are essentially the same camera with minor differences, i would rather use a s-9000 series camera as there are more features and newer sensor. |
