I have dust inside the lens of my F40fd. I can see the dust particle behind the front glass element. They show up in some shots and mostly when shooting videos. Are there instructions somewhere on how to clean out the dust?

I read another thread recently on this very subject. The answer in that case was to position the camera lens in front of a vacuum cleaner and then turn the camera on. When the lens extended, the vacuum sucked out the dust. It would at least be worth a try, even if it didn't work..Robert

Thanks for the vacuum tip. I tried it with a toilet paper roll tube to fit around the lens and vacuum hose. Unfortunately it didn't remove the dust.
