Default Walking down the trail....

I have really been working on trying to get some of the local environment captured. With all the varying vegetation, it is really hard for me to get a good exposure. While walking today, I saw the afternoon light filtering through the trees on a nice 60 degree angle, and a solid ray hitting the little split rail fence down the path in front of me. I had camera in hand, and figgered @ 800 ISO might give me a chance. What do you think?

This trail leads to this outdoor classroom in the forest....

Both images present a very strong bluish cast (blotches) in some areas. This could have been caused by poor handling of white balance by the camera (perhaps you should choose Shade WB preset) or you tried to bring out the shade too much in PP. The first image also shows a severe amount of PF between the top branches/leafs and the bright sky behind them.
