Default Snooker/Pool Photography

Hi Guys

I run both a snooker and pool website for my local leagues. Just bought the F70exr last week mainly because of it's low light abilities and so far i've not been blown away with the results. The settings i'm using currently are as follows:
P Mode, 5m Fine, Auto 800, DR 400, Previa and Auto WB. Any suggestions/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I have the F200 EXR and, typically, I use the following :

P Mode, DR 200%, M Fine, ISO 400 (Auto), Astia (Soft), minus 0.33 EV

Astia gives better colour and contrast than Provia (Standard) - DR 200% does not wash out the contrast, nor cause colour 'drift' as higher DR settings do - And the minus EV just helps keep the highlights better controlled.

For your type of shots, you could use ISO 800 (Auto) and probably not need to worry about the minus EV. Try it with/without.
