Default First Macro with new HS-20exr

This is the first macro with my new HS 20. Hope it looks okay. How do you know what the settings were when you took the pic, my mind doesn't function that long to remember the "fleeting" stuff that whizzes across the screen when I snap the pic. This is a spiderwort flower. Also, is it possible to get better DOF in macro, if so, how? Just4clix

Good macro, for me, a little bit overexposed !
Try to calibrate the LCD screen to show you better the right exposure of the image.
For smaller DOF you have to try different angles and for better macro results you'll have to buy macro lenses .

Great macro, but a little washed out...

For getting good DOF you can move a little away from the subject and zoom in and then take the photo, you will get complete background blur. You may have to try a couple of shots with different angles as well.
