I am very interested in learning the true capabilities of my S5100. I am by far just an amateur, but would really like to learn about aperture, f stop, and various other digital camera settings that would make my shots look crisp and clean.

I have done some searches on google and yahoo groups and really only found people posting their photos for critiques. I would like to get into the meat of the settings and what they do. Do any of you know of an online class, group, or club that might post assignments or have you change the settings on your camera and tell you exactly whatthey do and why? I have already learned so much from you guys. Thanks for any information that you have.

Something - that you might find dull as not interactive - is to start with the standard user guide of your camera.

But I am you, I never finished mine.
