Hi can anyone tell me if i can use the zoom while i shoot a movie on the fuji or is it just the cannon?Dose anyone no how long these camers can shoot movies as i would like to get away with not having to buy a camcorder i no it is not as long as a camcrder but it would do me.Am i right in thinking that the the fuji is quicker (start up taking photos)ect so as a novice what would you recomend? thanks for any help as i have read as much as i can gone to the shops to do my home work but still not sure

The S2 can record about 8 minutes of highest quality video on a 1gb card.

Not sure about the Fuji specs on video length and zooming...

The Fuji will record 640X480 movies at 30 fps until you reach the capacity of the memory card, butyou can'tzoom whilerecording - the Canon will let you zoom and records at the same 640X480 resolution, but it costs a lot more.
