Default FinePix 6800Zoom

I recently purchased this camera and am putting it through the paces to see if I'll keep it. I also looked at the Olympus D40, Olympus 3040, and the Sony DSC S75. My concern is JPEG format vs TIFF. I shoot some stuff for print and am wonderring if I will need TIFF format, which the 6800Z doesn't have.

Any advice?

i do a lot of work for printing and there is no problem with the jpeg format.
of course the less compression you use the results are better

At the present time, most cams which can output a TIFF or RAW image will be very slow, so not a feature you would find practical for every shot. You'd soon get frustrated waiting for the cam to finish writing, ready for the next shot.
