Hello All,

With myS9000 on the side lines, I had to use my D60 as my back-up.

There is a world of difference shooting this type of event. The S9000 beats my D60 in many ways and enables capture of moments not possible with my D60.The weight is also another issue. I shot a Halloween Parade with my S9000 and it was a pleasure.

My broken S9000 gave me a chance to use my DSLR again.

After today's shoot with my D60 (and its lenses), once I get Fuji to fix my S9000, I may just get a second S9000 as my back-up. Changing a lens and no live preview are things my current style of shooting does not want to deal with anymore.
Please don't jump on me, this is just my opinion.

It is nice to know the D60's 6MP can capture good detail:

Regards, Nicholas

'Glad to see that you are back in business taking photos once more. The ease and flexibility of the Fuji S-9000 is also evident to me as I switch back and forth between the S-9000 and the dSLR's. But there are times when I really need a specific lens.
