Default Find Infinity on a 602

Hi All, just come from that 'other forum' where the guys were in a pickle getting consistency in their methodology to find that illusive infinity sweet spot. You know, when you're doing the landscape stuff and the 602 can't focus the sky!

Here's the method, with the crucial step in BIG type:

Zoom and frame the shot in SP landscape mode.
Cap the lens
Half press the shutter (AF warning comes on) and release.
Immediately switch from AF to Manual focus
Remove cap
Take shot at infinity.

PS the first step was missed, so the AF was still trying to focus with the lens capped during testing on nearby objects, using the front IR sensor. You can stick your pinky over the sensor, if you don't want to set the adaptor ring to on.

So far I've tried this at a few different zoom settings and it appears to work consistently.

Let me know how you get on. VOX
