Default That sinking feeling...

... when you KNOW he clocked you going through that school zone at 55 mph and says, "May I see your license?" and you know yours is suspended for speeding through a school zone for the third time. "I forgot my wallet" ain't going to work THIS time! GULP! Oh... and have a nice day.

Nice one Gary

In Australia school zones are set to 40km/h [25mph] and the constabulary don't give any leniency as to your over-speed-limits

It would certainly put a lump in MY throat!

The limits vary state-to-state and sometimes county-by-county. The driver has to pay attention and stop texting.

Great photo

Here in BC, Canada school zone is 30kph, and doing 60kph in a school zone, can get your vehicle impounded for 30 days. Here in BC, 30 over the limit laws are an automatic impound at the cops discretion, minimum is 7 days, maximum is 30 days. So not only are you having to pay the speeding fine, but towing costs, and impound lot fees..

in 30+ years of driving, I have only ever had 3 speeding tickets, none of them in a school zone.
