I agree 100%. My point was that what we do in our culture that is just a little different from someone elses may seem odd to them, but perfectly normal to us, and vice versa.

So true, so true!! One thing I've noticed is that as I get older, the things we do in our culture that I used to think were perfectly normal now seem to be a little "odd." Maybe I'm just thinking too hard or something? Ack!!

I'll shed a little light on the history of this event.

Years ago I visited the orient and after I left, they started the Penis Festival. Let's just say I am legendary over there.

Well... perhaps not. :G

How about a 30-foot inflatable penis in Toronto's Skydome.

Oh yeah? Well, Florida's entry in the festival has 'em all beat (no pun intended).

Hahahahah to the last picture!

That is culture diversity at it's finest! I saw something about it on TV too, truly interesting!

OUTSTANDING! Outside of the subject, you have a journalistic-ally good eye. One great lesson in cultures..

Brian --

What type of factory / plant / thingiedoodle is that (where you worked)? That's a very interesting-looking facility. What do they do there?

Oh, and to all, just FYI -- I didn't take the photo of the Capitol building in Tallahassee, but y'all knew that already, right?
