Hey guys, I have a serious problem I have heaps of photos on my Pentax camera and I was flicking through them the other night and suddenly it froze on me. I restarted the camera and went back to the images and when I did it said no image and sound.

Now when i goto take pictures after the mpic is taken it says memory card error and does not save. Im really stressing out as my memories are on that camera. Any ideas guys/?

Try freeware such as PC Inspectorto try to recover your images.

You will probably also need a card reader, if you don't have one already you can buy them for less than $15 on ebay or try a local store.

By the way, don'tstore your memories on your memory card. Copy them to a hard drive and then burn them to a CD.

To attempt a recovery load the card into a card reader and the run chkdsk drive_letter /f at the command prompt and if you have only a few corrupted image you may be able to recover those or at least gain access to the rest.
