Default Photos from Mars

I went to my grandaughter"s graduation and used my Coolpix
5000 camera. The shots looked fine in my monitor, but when
I downloaded the images, all of them were a yellowish/green!!
The shots were taken in a highschool auditorium. I kept the
pictures in spite of the distortions. Two questions -- how come
there's a color problem and can I change the colors back to normal
in my Adobe system?

It's because of the colour of the lightbulbs. Nothing wrong with your camera. Automatic white balance can't always correct for this. But you'll be glad you kept the pictures.

You can colour correct the photos with either Photoshop or Elements. Try the automatic correction first to see if that works.
