Thought everyone here would like tyhis info since I have searching for it myself....

I contacted TSA and they told me that Nimh AA batteries can be taken on a airplane in your carry-on luggage in any quanity as long as style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"you have them in plastic holders or in baggie(s). If they are loose they limit you to 2 sets or that is what they are soupposed to do. Also they said make sure the set in your camera is charged because they randomly pull cameras out and ask people to turn them on and take a picture to make sure they do not contain a bomb etc........

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"I only asked about Nickle Metal Hydride AAs so thats all the info I got back, so the info maybe different for other types of batteries and battery packs.
