I have recently brought a PowerShot G9 which I'm very happy with.

But while taking a photo of my 2 year old daughter she decided to poke the lence which has left a finger print.

Whats the best way to clean the finger print off?

I would just recommend the usual method of a blower brush to blow any dust/dirt off the lens to begin with, followed by putting a little bit of lens cleaning fluid (eg kodak lens cleaning fluid or something equivalent) onto a clean microfibre cloth, and then use that damp part of the microfibre cloth to wipe the lens. And if the finger print is not overly grimey and nasty, then it's possible to just blow air onto the lens and just wipe the lens with the microfibre cloth without the need for cleaning fluid.
