Because questions of reputable and not-so-reputable dealters often come up in this forum, I thought I'd share an experience with Cameta Auctions, the large ebay seller.

I purchashed a Pentax K20d DSLR off ebay from Cameta. It proved to have a defective shutter. I called the company, got authorization to return it, and sent it out FedEx last week. According to tracking info, it arrived at Cameta about 8:00 Monday morning. UPS tracking shows that a replacement was on its way to me within a couple of hours of its receipt in New York. I was impressed by the speed and professionalism of the way they handled the problem. Cameta went up a couple of notches in my book.

Now I can't wait to get my camera, lol.

Too bad about the shutter, but it sounds as if their customer service people are really on the ball. It really takes the edge off a bad experience when a vendor is that responsive. Thanks for sharing the information.
