Default non oem replacement batteries?

looking on ebay I noticed a number of non oem replacement batteries for my canon sd100. Any thoughts on brands that would work, or have worked well?

You can also check batterybarn.com and bhphoto.com (the largest single seller of photo and video equipement in the US.)

Personally, I have a Lenmar for my 10D and am fairly happy with it. It was much cheaper and lasts as long as I would expect. I haven't done a test to see if its more than the Canon (They clame its more powerful, so it should.) But the real trouble will happen in 6 months or so. I've heard some people complain that they just die after some amount of use. Others say they keep working great. I would assume this applies to other battery models they make.

Don't know if its a quality control thing or just cheaply made (i.e. the people who's bats are still working great just use it less.)
