Can I use a Memory Stick / Smart Media Card in Sony's FD series Mavica Camera's using a Floppy Disk Adapter for that particular Media?

Thanks in advance

I looked into this a while ago as I already have a FlashPath adaptor. In principle because the adaptor is built to a floppy profile It should work. However, watch out for older and newer models where the older ones can only take the smaller SM cards (8Mb I think). Even the newer ones can only go to 64Mb.

BUT I see another problem. Doesn't the FlashPath adaptor need a driver to translate the BIOS floppy access to the SM in the adapter? You can't install this in your camera. I can't remember just using it as a floppy, I'm sure their driver activates when you plug it in the drive to distinguish it from a normal 1.44Mb floppy.

Good Luck - VOX
