Default Repairing Canon A70

Some sand got into my Canon A70 and the lens will not retract back into its original position. Does anybody know a cheap/reliable digital camera repair shop? Thanx

All depends on where you are! ;-) (as you didn't mention in your message your location, nor did you fill that information out when you registered...I could mention a place in Toronto, and you may live in Japan)

Seriously though, sand is one of those things you never completely get out of a camera...there's always another grain of it that will muck up your camer later. I was at a lecture and this person was talking about her Hasselblad, a camera that costs thousands of dollars and about her experiences in the desert during a sandstorm. She had everthing professionally serviced, and years later you can still get the occasional grain of sand causing problems. Would be better off buying a new camera...and maybe a waterproof case for preventing the same thing again (it only keeps water out).
