Default filters between camera and tele/wide angle lens

I just got a olympus tcon14b and wcon08b for my sony 707 camera. Question is, can i use my uv and polarizer filters between these lenses and my camera or is it better to buy filters for on the lenses?

I have to try it for myself ofcourse, but im waiting for the right adapter ring, grrrr.

It will work.

It will increase the severity or possibility of vignetting. A lot of people don't recommend it because it increases the possibility of lens flare and internal reflections with those extra reflecting surfaces in there.

Your camera's CCD is pretty insensitive to UV, so there's a good chance the UV filter won't help anyway.

If you really need a polarizer, the benefits would probably outweigh the disadvantages.
