If you're planning on picking up a Droid X, DO NOT PULL the tab on the inside of the battery compartment.
My Wife received this phone today, and there was nothing about the tab in the included literature. Having small children, it's somewhat common to see pull tabs that need to be "pulled" before using the device. So, when she pulled it (it also has a note on there that says: Do not cut), it pulled the entire backing out of the phone.
After watching some videos on Youtube, this seems to be a common issue. The pull tab is designed to help you remove the battery, but there's nothing about that anywhere in the manual or quick start guide.
So, I figured I'd give you all a warning. Luckily the sticker "backing" is not needed, however it does have the serial numbers for the phone (so we are going to try to reinstall it).
Oh, as for the phone itself, it looks awesome so far. I can't wait to compare it to my original Motorola Droid.
