Default Confirmation Pictures

I have been asked to take confirmation pictures inside a church. I am amatuer
photographer. I own a Canon t2i. I would like some help as far as what kind of lens to use, shutter speed, iso, to get a sharp picture and not something that looks red and washed out due to dark lighting.

Take a look at this link Canon Flash Questions
to a thread on a very similar question.

There's not a lot to see during the event, and the priest may very well request that no pictures be taken during the ceremony, and you'll have ample time to take pictures of all involved immediately afterward, so I'd recommend planning for that. You might scout out the location before hand to see what sort of light is available inside the church, as some are more thoroughly lit than others. Perhaps even take a test shot or two to see what your camera needs.

Good luck!
