G'day Simon

Good on yer mate for asking for your 100%
However, as said ^ and in responses to other Qs on the forum, you are not the only one looking for the [currently] impossible ... but keep lookin' mate

I am with you with much of your wish list - I can see little advantage in >8mpx sensors when few of us print to 20" x 30" on a regular -say weekly- basis and 99% of us often use a 1mpx viewer of 1280x960px to look at our sparkling images

To have a decent lens of 12x or 18x is great ... imagine back in film-camera days when a 5x zoom was considered a 'wow' lens

Theoretically you could go mirrorless and via adapters, use all sorts of other lenses, but you lose the wonders of modern electronics, so that's not such a great option

However, when you find your magic camera, would you let me know so that I can get one too :-)
Regards, Phil
