Default Photography Workshop Tours

I am thinking of going on a photography workshop tour to Montana & Yellowstone National Park. I have come across 2 tours that will be going there the 3rd week of Sept. One is with Mentor Series (mentorseries.com)& the other is with Travel Images (travelimages.com). I am wondering if anyone has ever gone on one of these tours or has heard comments from anyone that has. It will be quite costly for me to do this so I want to make sure the tours are reuptuable & worthwhile. They both sound good.

Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

G'day Janice

I attempted to run similar photo tours in eastern Australia some time ago, and ran up against similar issues-
While the cost of operating the tour must be shared between the 8 or 10 fellow-travellers, pre-payment of entry & other fees, hotel rooms & meals, odd bits of transport etc etc plus 'that damn Public Liability insurance' makes it very hard to do these tours and even cover costs ~ never mind run at a 'profit'
