A L lens on a mirrorless and adapter will be a pretty big setup for a compact.

Well, actually, I just sold it. I was going to get rid of it anyways since even if I stick with my Canon gear and don't change to a Nex-7 or something, the 24 wasn't wide enough for me. So actually, I'm in a good position right now. I bought the lens for $1025, and I just sold it for $1400.

Yea, Aperture control is a must for me. I shoot fully manual most of the time.

Yea, I probably will. In the leaked pictures, there wasn't a view finder though, and for me that's a must have.

Haha yea I don't want to do that. If I do get a Nex-7 I see myself keeping the 16mm pancake on it 80% of the time.

The NEX doesn't have a viewfinder either.

If you want a viewfinder, Olympus OMD with the sony sensor or one for the panny G an GH camera. The other option, the the ep3 or epl2 with the removable EVF. Sony does not have a vf options.

The Nex-7 does. It's not optical, but it has an OLED one.
