Default Steve: Please offer some advice!

Hi Steve,

I just read some of your reviews, they were really thoughtful. I am an amateur in this field, so I still can't really make a decision about which camera to get after reading your reviews.

I am trying to decide between the Sony DSC-p9 and the Minolta f100.

I am looking for a capable camera with superb image quality, excellent colors and sharp pictures. The camera should also fare well in most lighting situations. I am not very good at adjusting the camera lighting to suit diff. conditions, so it will be helpful if the camera can automatically adjust lightings etc.

hope to hear your words of wisdom!

For the point ans shoot, they're are very good.
If you want to have some control or total control of your taking picture, you can't, so stay away from them...

I've just read a review on the Minolta F100. High praise indeed. Coped very well with difficult lighting conditions.
