Default Newbie questions

Well, gonna buy the F707 tommorow and wondering what I need. I know the larger memory stick.

Do I need to get a mem stick reader/writer to transfer my pics? Never had a digi cam before so have no clue on how these things work.

Do I just plug the USB into the camera and then into the USB port on my PC to transfer pics?

Anything else that I forgot that you think I should know also?

Thanks Matt

You'll probably prefer a USB memory reader to plugging the camera in directly but you don't need it right away. Might want to get a spare battery so you aren't caught when one is charging and miss a shot. Get a case so it doesn't get banged up in the field. Lowe Pro makes some nice digicam cases.

Unless you can get a great deal on the F707 - take a look at the News page, we just posted info on the new F717 which is the year 2002 update of the F707 with lots of new features and everything the F707 had.
