I would probably avoid the cheap lens kits you typically find on Ebay. They are likely to cause more harm than good (distortion, vignetting, etc.).

Raynox makes a lens for the Coolpix line that may do what you need. It's their model MSN-200. It requires a 28-37mm step-up ring (included with the lens).

It sells for around $69.95 from most reputable vendors (just search for the Raynox MSN-200)

Just keep in mind, that you would not be able to use the SL-1 Macro light with the closeup lens attached, so you'd need some other type of lighting.

All of the 9xx series of Coolpix cameras output composite video and the cable is RCA so it plugs right into the standard Video In on a TV set or VCR or whatever. All of them including the 4500 are super macro closeup cameras, some of the best.
