I have been pretty set on purchasing the Olympus c-765 for quite a long time, but when I went to Circuit City today and the sales associates said the Kodak dx6490 was much better. I have to get a camera within the next few days and I really can't decide now. Please help. What I have read from many reviews is that the Kodak is really easy to use, but the quaility of pictures are not that great. Something about the pictures being compressed at least 1/10 of the original. What bout the Olympus? How much are the pictures compressed there from TIFF to HQ. Also, is there or is there not a remote for the Olympus. I had an old olympus and a lot of the pictures did not turn out even near the quality of a regualr 35mm picture...which one of these two cameras would be closer? And also image stability...because of the 10 x zoom, which one is shakier while taking pictures and which one is better for night shots. Please let me know asap. Thanks a lot
