I saw the Photoshop Elements box again, it says one feature is "warping" text. Looks like a nice feature, but probably less control than "text on a path". :-D

Vanessa, If you have a block of "Paragraph text" stretching across the width of a page the easiest way to make it multiple columns is to select the text, goto Text>Format Text>Frame and Columns Tab-----there you can select how many columns you want, the size, and the gutter width(i.e. the spacing in between) click apply and job done. Hope this helps.
