I recently bought a canon powershot s60 and after taking a couple of images, noticed that the right side of the photo is nearly always blurry while the left side and center are super sharp. I tested various focus and other setting, wiped the lens with a soft colth, etc. but with no luck. It is most noticeable on outdoor shots (right side is very blurry then).

Maybe I have a lemon ?

Take a look:

Suggest you print that picture out and take it and the camera back to where you bought it. I picture like that should be sharp throughout, or blurry throughout...not half and half.

Looks like either a lens or CCD is popped out of alignment.

DO NOT try and fix it yourself as the camera was just bought.

It might be interesting to move the focussing point over to the right and see if it puts the right side in focus, and defocusses the left side. (Or maybe you already tried that.)
