Default Looking for guidance

I'm looing for my first digital camera. I've used 35mm for years including some SLRs. I’ve read reviews until I’m rather bleary eyed. I’ve narrowed the field down to four cameras unless
someone comes up with a better suggestion in these price ranges. These are the Canon S 30, the Minolta F-100, the Nikon Coolpix 4300, or the Olympus 720 UZ.

I plan to use this to take close-ups of items to sell on ebay and general family photography. A wide angle adapter would be useful, but not an absolute essential.

I’m leaning toward the Nikon but find very few comments about this model. It’s my understanding it succeeded the 885 which apparently had some problems. I would appreciate the benefit of your experiences with any or all of them.
