Default Need help picking a camera for Christmas.

I've done a lot of research and I have narrowed it down to the Canon Powershot A40 and the Olympus D550 Zoom. I can get the Canon for $210 or I can get the Olympus for $250. The Olympus also comes with a free card reader and they will give you a free 64MB card as a rebate offer with the D550. I've found some pictures on the internet that were taken with the Canon and they looked really nice. Which camera do you think is a better deal and which would you buy? Thanks.

Default A40

I would suggest Canon Powershot A40. I've used that camera about six months.. Great 2m.pixl. camera. Here are the A40 specs: http://www.canon.co.jp/Imaging/PSA40/index-e.html ...
