Default Need Help For Selecting Affordable Digi-cam

Hello All,
I am new to digital cameras. I am looking for a camera for my wife. She is a amateur when it comes to photography (as well as myself). She wants a camera for Christmas. I need help finding a good camera in the $300 - $500 price range. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I recommend the Olympus C4000. It is a 4mp camer, 3x optical zoom, and a super macro zoom. You can point and shoot through the auto mode or you can learn the manual settings and expand you photo abilities. You can buy it on line for around $400. Go To:
www.dealtime.com, prices and vendors reviews are avaliable.
