Default FujiFilm A303

I was wondering what your opinion was on the Fujifilm A303. I am considering purchasing this camera and want to know what your experiences have been with this or camera or if you have heard anything about it.

Sorry Steve, but obviously if someone is posting in one of your forums about a camera you have reviewed, they must have been aware of the fact that you review cameras. Before a major purchase is made, I think you should get as many learned opinions as possible. I was also going to mention several of the user threads, but they are not totally objective.

p.s: How about entering the thread(s) on Canon A40 right-side blurriness and putting in your "2 cents worth"? I'm hoping that Canon will address the issue with me by e-mail, but I'm sure that if there is a real issue, that they will "skirt" it so as not to invoke displeasure amongst the photgraphic community. I did talk to them on the 'phone, and they agreed that exchanging the camera was a good idea. However, the retailer my friend bought it from does not stock this model any more, so the camera is back at Canon service depot for investigation. From another thread, another customer did this and feels it did not fix the problem, but only added more problems with the new unit (a misadjusted viewfinder).

Is the problem caused by :
sloppy manufacturing process;
poor quality control;
all you can expect for $400 Cdn (less than perfect tolerances)?
